I was up late last night cleaning the house next to ours which functions as the cook shack (where the cook stays and cooks breakfast and lunch), bunk house (where the cowboys sleep), and dining hall then got up at 4:30 this morning to go over and help the cook get ready for breakfast. We made biscuits & gravy, sausage, bacon, and eggs for them.
Oh yeah, I worked from 6:30 am to 7pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so I was tired last night, now I'm exhausted. Saturday night after work I went to meet Mr. H and a few friends at the Tom Butler Memorial Bronc ridin' and went to the dance afterwords so we didn't get home until about 11:30.
They were going to start weaning today, but it's decided to storm so they just stayed for breakfast and 5 pots of coffee, now they're all headed out. We'll start over tomorrow morning and see what happens.
I'm curled up in bed about to go to take a quick nap then get on the road for 4 hours to go pick Miss Teale up from my Grandparents. She's been really good for them and for my in laws too. I'm sure she
I'll try to snap some good pictures this week to share on Friday.
Have any recipes to share? (We're feedin about 12-14 guys)

Busy lady! I miss you!!!!
I had to cook for our crew last week for vaccinating...I just did chili cause it's easy to make a bunch of it. I was going to add it to my blog soon, so make sure to look for it :)
I always feed a brisket, beans, and tater salad, just cause it feeds a bunch and there is usually leftovers for burritos or something the next day!
Sounds like fun! Glad things are well!
Sounds like so much fun. You sound like the pioneer woman :)
holy cow you have been busy!!
Since its fall, I've did a big green chile stew last time I cooked. I also like to do a couple pans of enchiladas and beans. Of course there is always roast and all the fixin's.
J wanted to enter the Tom Butler, but he entered one locally. So no extra cash for both of em'.
